I am vivek, currently into my final year of my undergraduate studies in Computer science and Engineering at the Hindustan College of Engineering, Padur, Chennai. My studies gets over in May '05.
Born on the 27th of may 1984. I am the son of a government officier who occupies the post of 'Controller of Defence Accounts' (CDA). My father finished the indian civil service exam and was selected into the 'Indian Defence Accounts Service' (IDAS). His job is a tranferable job and due to which i have lived in places starting from Bangalore, Meerut, Delhi, Madras and in Australia. Since i have never stayed in a single place for more than 5 years, i have picked only the a little bit of all the different cultures that i have experienced.
In my family, i am the eldest and have a brother doing his 11th grade. My mother was a maths teacher, but currently is a house maker.
At this moment i am in the final semester of my undergraduation, and i am involved with three of my freind for the final semes ter project titled 'hierarchical routing in ATM PNNI networks using multicast'. I project as of now is a research project and will be implemented if we find the time and implemtation feasible.
My academic interests are in the field of networking and graphics. I am adept in coding, testing, interface design and so on in languages like c/c++, java, VB, actionscript.
